Vehicle Speed Sensor Test

Test drive vehicle. During test drive, accelerate vehicle to at least 16 MPH. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. To command system to perform vehicle speed sensor test, unlatch HOLD/TEST button for at least one second and relatching button within 8 seconds, after driving vehicle. If vehicle speed of at least 16 MPH is not detected, Code 55 will appear. If vehicle speed sensor is operating properly, Code 11 will appear indicating test passed. If Code 55 appears, go to TEST H  under TROUBLE CODE TESTS.
