System Tests: Notes
WARNING:
Deactivate air bag system before working around steering column. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
CAUTION:
When battery is disconnected or modules are replaced, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.
NOTE:
Ensure speedometer and horn systems are operating properly before testing speed control system.
NOTE:
After completing any repair, use New Generation Star (NGS) tester to clear DTCs and repeat speed control servo self-test.
