Front Door Window Glass

Removal & Installation

1. Remove the door trim panel, if necessary. See TRIM PANEL FRONT DOOR  .
2. Remove the inside weatherstrip. See Fig 1 .
   CAUTION: Do not attempt to pry out the rivets as damage to the door window glass could result. Prior to removing the rivet center pins, it is necessary to place a suitable block support between the door outlet panel and the door window channel bracket to stabilize the door window glass during rivet removal.
3. Remove the rivets. See Fig 2 .
4. Remove the front door window glass.
   NOTE: Install the front rivet before installing the rear rivet.
5. To install reverse the removal procedure.
