Power Seats: Description

Continental is equipped with a 6-way power seat with memory function, power lumbar support and heated seat cushions as an option. Seat movement is provided by a tri-motor assembly located under seat bottom. A recliner motor provides seat back movement. Seat function is controlled by Driver's Door Module (DDM) and Driver's Seat Module (DSM), with outputs to Lighting Control Module (LCM).

Circuit protection is provided by maxi-fuses No. 1 and 2 (30-amp) in battery junction box and fuse No. 39 (10-amp) in central junction box. System ground points are located just ahead of left and right front doors, behind kick panels. Memory seat system, if equipped, allows automatic positioning of driver's seat, to 2 programmable positions, using message center, remote keyless entry keypad or transmitter.
