Test C: All Windows Are Inoperative
- Ensure all window switches are not pressed. Using New Generation Star (NGS) tester, clear Driver's Door Module (DDM) DTCs and perform DDM self-test. If DTC B1549 is not retrieved, go to next step. If DTC B1549 is retrieved, go to step 3 .
- Using NGS tester, select and monitor DDM PIDs, RRPW_SW, LRPW_SW, P_PW_SW, and D_PW_SW. Press and release each driver's door window control switches several times. If each PID does not indicate that the button releases within one second from when switch is released, go to next step. If each PID indicates that the button releases within one second from when switch is released, check for a sticking switch. Continuous fault will set if any window switch is held for greater than 2 minutes.
- Using NGS tester, select and monitor DDM PIDs, RRPW_SW, LRPW_SW, P_PW_SW, and D_PW_SW. Remove driver's door module without disconnecting any connectors. If the PID still indicates a stuck window control switch, replace DDM. If the PID does not still indicate a stuck window control switch, replace driver's door window control switch bezel.
