Removal and Installation

- Remove the screws and lower the instrument panel steering column cover (04459).
- Reposition the instrument panel finish panel (044D70).
- Remove the screw.
- Disengage the clips and reposition the instrument panel finish panel away from the instrument panel (04320).
- Push in on the retaining tabs and remove the automatic temperature control sensor hose and elbow (19D888) from the instrument panel finish panel. To remove the in-car temperature sensor (19C734), push in on the retaining tabs and remove from the trim panel.
- Remove the screws and reposition the radio chassis (18806).
- Remove the screws and pull the electronic automatic temperature control module from the instrument panel.
- Remove the electronic automatic temperature control module.
- Remove the nuts and the vacuum harness connector.
- Remove the electrical connectors and remove the electronic automatic temperature control module.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
