Cooling Module
- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Recover the refrigerant. For additional information, refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
- Remove the fan shroud. For additional information refer to RADIATOR, COOLING FAN AND SHROUD, AND DEGAS BOTTLE .
- Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
Item 4: Condenser Inlet Tube Removal Note
- Release the condenser inlet tube from the retaining clips and position aside.
Item 7: Condenser Outlet Tube Removal Note
- Disconnect and position aside.
Item 8: Transmission Oil Cooler Lines Removal Note
- Using the special tool, disconnect the quick couplers.
NOTE:
If equipped, remove the safety retainer from the connectors.
Item 11: Cooling Module Removal Note
- Lift the cooling module up and toward the engine to remove it from the vehicle.
Item 8: Transmission Oil Cooler Lines Installation Note
- Connect the fittings and pull on them to make sure they are fully engaged.
NOTE:
If equipped, install the safety retainer on the connectors.
Item 7: Condenser Outlet Tube Installation Note
- Install new O-rings lubricated in clean PAG oil.
Item 4: Condenser Inlet Tube Installation Note
- Install new O-rings lubricated in clean PAG oil.
