Section 239 (Engine-3.0L): Removal: Engine: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position on a hoist.
Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, Refer to BATTERY AND CHARGING SYSTEM .
Remove the air cleaner assembly.
Release the fuel system pressure. For additional information, Refer to FUEL SYSTEM .
Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, Refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Discharge the A/C system. For additional information, Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
Remove the clean air inlet duct. For additional information, Refer to CLIMATE CONTROL SYSTEM .
Remove the drive shaft. For additional information, Refer to DRIVELINE SYSTEM .
Remove the exhaust system. For additional information, Refer to EXHAUST STEM .
Remove the RH and LH inner fender splash shields.
Remove the front splash shield.
Remove the RH and LH subframe splash shields.
