Cooling System Flushing

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the thermostat. For additional information, refer to THERMOSTAT AND THERMOSTAT HOUSING .
- Install the water hose connection without the thermostat.
- Use cooling system Pro Flush and Fill, Flush Kit and Drain Kit to flush the engine and radiator.
- Install the thermostat. For additional information, refer to THERMOSTAT AND THERMOSTAT HOUSING .
- Fill the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
WARNING:
To avoid personal injury, do not unscrew the coolant pressure relief cap while the engine is operating or hot. The cooling system is under pressure; steam and hot liquid can come out forcefully when the cap is loosened slightly. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
