Passenger Air Bag Module: Installation

- Make sure the J-clips on the back of the passenger air bag module are fully seated into the slots.
- Make sure the retaining clips on the back of the passenger air bag module are fully seated onto the ears.
- Install the passenger air bag module into the instrument panel.
- Make sure the two retaining clips and two alignment pins are fully seated into the instrument panel. The passenger air bag module should have a flush fit and finish up against the instrument panel.
- Through the glove compartment opening, install the passenger air bag module bolts.
- Connect the passenger air bag module electrical connector.
- Connect the glove compartment isolator. Close the glove compartment.
- Position the instrument cluster finish panel and seat the RH side retainers.
- Seat the retainers on the instrument cluster finish panel LH side.
- Install the 2 instrument cluster finish panel screws.
- Position the shifter lever in the PARK position.

CAUTION:
Do not handle the passenger air bag module by grabbing the edges of the deployment doors.
