Removal and Installation

Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, Refer to ENGINE COOLING .
Disconnect the vacuum hoses and the wire harness connector from the evaporative emission canister purge valve (EVAP canister purge valve) (9C915).

Remove the nut.

Remove the nuts and remove the evaporative emission canister purge valve.

Release the clamps and disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core.

Release the clamp and remove the heater hose.

Remove the nut and stud.

Remove the retaining nut and detach the wire harness from the blower motor speed control upper stud.
Remove the blower motor speed control.
1. Disconnect the blower motor speed control electrical connector.
2. Remove the screw.
3. Remove the stud and the blower motor speed control.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Clean and lubricate the coolant system with plain water, only if needed.
Fill the engine coolant level. For additional information, Refer to ENGINE COOLING .
