Front Disc Brake: Material

- Remove the wheel and tire assembly. For additional information, refer to SUSPENSION SYSTEM .
- Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustrations. Remove the lower caliper bolt to remove the brake disc pads.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Bleed the brake system. For additional information, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING .
Item 13: Brake Disc Shield Installation Note
- Drill four 6.35 mm (0.25 in) holes in the wheel knuckle.
- Secure the brake disc shield to the wheel knuckle with 6.35 mm (0.25 in) rivets (W701950-S100).
Item 9: Brake Disc Installation Note
- Apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the wheel hub flange.
CAUTION:
Make sure to apply a thin coat of anti-seize lubricant to the hub flange only. Do not allow the lubricant to make contact with the wheel studs, brake pads or brake disc.
