Pinpoint Test G: DTC C1179 - Speed Control Cable Slack Failure

Test Step
G1 CHECK THE SPEED CONTROL ACTUATOR CABLE ADJUSTMENT
- Carry out the speed control actuator cable adjustment. Refer to SPEED CONTROL CABLE .
- Clear the DTCs.
- Retrieve and document DTCs.
- Is DTC C1179 retrieved?
Result / Action to Take
Yes
INSTALL a new speed control actuator. REFER to SPEED CONTROL SERVO . REPEAT the self-test.
No
System is OK.
