Fuel Pump Module: Removal
- Remove the fuel tank. For additional information, refer to FUEL TANK .
- Disconnect the pressure transducer connector on the top rear corner of the fuel tank.
- Clean the area around the fuel pump mounting flange.
- Remove the bolts and the fuel pump.
- Remove and discard the fuel pump mounting gasket.
CAUTION:
The fuel pump must be handled carefully to avoid damage to the float arm and the filter.
