Oil Pan: Removal

  1. Remove the front crossmember. For additional information, refer to FULL FRAME AND BODY MOUNTING .
  2. Remove the bolt and the nut. Position the transmission cooler tubes aside.

  3. Drain the engine oil.
    • Install the drain plug when finished.

  4. Remove the oil pan bolts in the sequence shown.

  5. Remove the oil pan and the gasket.
