Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation

  1. If necessary, install the PCM bracket and bolts.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  2. Install the PCM and bolts.
    • Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
  3. Connect the PCM electrical connectors.
  4. Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Program Module Installation procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
  5. Reprogram the passive anti-theft system (PATS). Carry out the Key Programming Using Two Programmed Keys procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT .
