Generator - 2.0L GTDI: Installation
- Position the generator and hand tighten the 3 bolts. Tighten in the sequence shown in illustration.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Connect the generator electrical connector and install the nut.
- Tighten to 17 Nm (150 lb-in).
- Position the power steering pump and install the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the upper Charge Air Cooler (CAC) pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR SYSTEM COMPONENTS - EXPLODED VIEW .
- Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and position the accessory drive belt.
