Head Restraint Guide Sleeve: Removal

NOTE: Typical head restraint guide sleeve shown, others similar.

   Depress the locking tabs and remove the head restraint.

NOTE: Follow the unique instructions or graphic for this step in the installation
NOTE: When a head restraint guide sleeve has been removed from a seat, a new head restraint guide sleeve must be installed.

   Remove the head restraint guide sleeve in the following sequence:

   1. 1.
      
      Using the screwdriver, press the head restraint guide sleeve retaining tab inward approximately 5 mm (0.2 in).

   1. 2.
      
      While pressing the head restraint guide sleeve retaining tab inward, pull upward on the head restraint guide sleeve and remove it from the backrest frame crossmember.
