Gearshift Module (GSM): Removal

NOTE: It is not necessary to carry out a PMI when installing a new GSM unless specifically instructed to do so in a TSB, GSB, FSA or SSM.

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the FCIM. Refer to: Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) Vehicles Without: THX Audio System . Refer to: Front Display Interface Module (FDIM) Vehicles With: THX Audio System .
2. Remove the trim panel.

3. Remove the screws and the GSM.
