Main Control Cover: Installation

  1. NOTE: The main control cover gasket can be can be reused if not damaged.

    Clean and inspect the main control cover seal for damage.

  2. NOTE: Install the studbolts in the locations noted during removal.

    Install the main control cover and the bolts.

    Torque: 106 lb.in (12 Nm)

    1. If equipped, install the start stop cabin heater coolant pump and the nuts.

      Torque: 89 lb.in (10 Nm)

    2. Attach the wiring harness retainer.

  3. Connect the electrical connectors and the wiring retainers.

  4. Install the ground cable bolt and the ground cable retainer.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)

  5. Install the CAC tube and tighten the clamps.

    Torque: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

  6. Attach the wiring harness connectors.

  7. Install the transmission fluid cooler tubes on the front cover studbolt and install the nut.

    Torque: 80 lb.in (9 Nm)

  8. Install the 2 transmission fluid cooler tubes into the transmission fluid cooler bypass valve and tighten the fittings.

    Torque: 16 lb.ft (22 Nm)

  9. Install the battery tray support bracket.

  10. Attach the wiring retainer.

  11. Install the battery tray. REFER to: Battery Tray .
  12. Fill the transmission with transmission fluid. REFER to: Transmission Fluid Drain and Refill .
