Front Door Window Control Switch: Removal

Driver's door 

  1. NOTE: Use care when releasing the clips to prevent breakage to the bezel during removal.

    Remove the rear door window control switch.

    1. Using the interior trim remover, release the driver door window control switch rear retaining clip. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    2. Using the interior trim remover, release the driver door window control switch rear snap tab. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    3. Using the interior trim remover, release the driver door window control switch front snap tab. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    4. Using the interior trim remover, release the driver door window control switch front retaining clip. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    5. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the driver door window control switch.

  2. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Remove the screws from the driver door window control switch.

    Passenger door 

  3. NOTE: Use care when releasing the clips to prevent breakage to the bezel during removal.

    Remove the rear door window control switch.

    1. Using the interior trim remover, release the passenger door window control switch rear retaining clip. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    2. Using the interior trim remover, release the passenger door window control switch rear snap tab. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    3. Using the interior trim remover, release the passenger door window control switch front snap tab. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    4. Using the interior trim remover, release the passenger door window control switch front retaining clip. . Use the General Equipment: Interior Trim Remover
    5. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the passenger door window control switch.

  4. NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

    Remove the passenger door window control switch from the bezel.

    1. Release the passenger door window control switch rear retaining tabs.
    2. Remove the passenger door window control switch from the bezel.
