Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

Cruise control module (CCM) 

  1. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Disconnect the CCM from the CCM bracket.
    3. Remove the CCM.

  2. NOTE: Replace any damaged CCM grommets.

    Inspect CCM grommets for damage.

    CCM bracket 

  3. Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover .
  4. Remove the CCM. Refer to: Cruise Control Module (CCM) .
    1. Remove the PCM bracket bolts.

      Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

    2. Loosen the lower PCM bracket bolt.

      Torque: 28 lb.in (3.2 Nm)

    3. Position the PCM aside.

  5. Remove the rear CCM bracket bolt.

    Torque: 42 lb.in (4.8 Nm)

  6. Remove the 2 bolts and the CCM bracket.

    Torque: 93 lb.in (10.5 Nm)
