Water Pump: Disassembly

  1. Press the pulley boss off of the pump shaft. Remove the snap ring.

  2. Supporting the pump body, apply pressure to the rear end of the shaft to press the shaft, spacer and bearing assembly out through the front of the pump body. See Fig 1.
  3. Remove impeller and seal assembly from the pump body. Press bearings and spacer from the shaft.
