Water Pump: Reassembly
- Install stop ring and dust seal on the shaft. Drive baffle plate onto the taper of the shaft.
- Press the rear bearing onto shaft with sealed side rearward until it contacts the stop ring. Press shaft and bearing assembly into pump body.
- Place the spacer on the shaft and fill with grease. Install front bearing (sealed side forward) until the snap ring can be installed. Press pulley boss onto shaft.
- Install the seal assembly into the body. Press impeller onto shaft until it is flush with the end of the shaft.
