Fuel Injectors: Removal
CAUTION:
Allow engine to cool before removing fuel hose. Cover the hose connection with a shop towel because fuel will be sprayed out under pressure when hose is disconnected.
- Disconnect negative battery cable. Relieve pressure by removing fuel hose from fuel filter. Unplug electrical connectors from injectors.
- Remove pressure regulator. Remove 2 bolts attaching fuel distribution pipe to intake manifold. Remove fuel distribution pipe, grommets, injectors and regulator.
