Wiper/Washer Systems: Description

All models have a 2-speed wiper motor, some with intermittent wipe feature. RX7, 323, and 626 models may be equipped with a rear window wiper/washer system. The wiper lever is on the right side of column on all models except RX7. A time delay relay is used to control the intermittent cycle on all models except RX7. On RX7 models, wipers are timed by the "Control Processing Unit" that also operates a number of other accessories. On RX7 models, rear wipers also use a time delay relay to control the intermittent cycle.
