No. 1 Air Control Valve (ACV)

  1. Remove No. 1 ACV. Blow air into hose A. Ensure air does not emerge from hose B. If leakage is evident, replace No. 1 ACV. See Fig 1 .

  2. With vacuum pump attached to No. 1 ACV, apply 15.6 in. Hg of vacuum to valve. Blow air into hose A. Ensure air emerges from hose B. If air does not emerge from hose B, replace No. 1 ACV.
