Inspection Procedure
Operate engine until normal operating temperature is reached and allow to idle. Engine speed should not exceed 4000 RPM while warming up.
NOTE:
The control unit has a built-in fail-safe mechanism. If a malfunction occurs during vehicle operation, the control unit will, on its own initiative, operate on preset parameters that will allow normal driving performance to be maintained. See FAIL-SAFE CONDITIONS for additional information.
