Power Steering Pump: Reassembly

  1. Apply ATF type F fluid to vanes, rotor and control valve. Coat lip of oil seal with lithium grease. Install all new "O" rings.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. If replacing housing assembly and control valve, use parts bearing the same mark. Replace cam ring, rotor and vanes as a set.
