Front Wiper Motor

  1. Apply battery voltage to terminal "B". SeeFig 1 . Ground terminal "A" and motor should operate at low speed. Ground terminal "C" and motor should operate at high speed.
  2. Operate motor at low speed and check for conductivity between terminals "B" and "D". SeeFig 1 . Terminals "B" and "D" should become conductive once per revolution. Continue operating motor at low speed and check for conductivity between terminals "D" and "E". Terminals "D" and "E" should become non-conductive once per revolution.
  3. Connect battery voltage to "A" terminal and ground "B" terminal. Motor should operate.
