Inspection & Reassembly
- Check all components for damage or wear. Check steering shaft for bends, damage or sheared plastic pins. On 626, check for proper shaft length of 23.86-23.94" (606-608 mm). See Figure .
- On RX7, check for proper shaft length of 32.08-32.13" 814.9-816.1 mm). On B2200 and B2600, check for proper shaft length of 32.68-32.89" (830.0-835.6 mm). Check bearings for excessive play. Replace parts as necessary.
