Inhibitor Switch (A/T) Test
Disconnect inhibitor switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between terminals "A" and "B". See Fig 1 . With shift lever in "N" or "P", there should be continuity. With shift lever in other positions, there should not be continuity. If continuity is not as specified, replace inhibitor switch.
