Auxiliary Port Valve Actuator (Non-Turbo)

  1. Auxiliary port valve in intake manifold is operated by a vacuum controlled actuator. Remove hose from actuator. Install pressure gauge on line fitting.
  2. Apply low pressure compressed air to actuator and check operation. Actuator should start to move at approximately .85 psi (.06 kg/cm2 ) and be fully opened with 1.4 psi (.095 kg/cm2 ) applied. Replace actuator if not within specification.
