Anti-Lock Brake System - Late: Operation
The ABS control unit senses reductions in front and rear wheel speed and modulates hydraulic pressure to brakes preventing wheel lock-up. When wheel lock-up is detected, short pedal pulsations in rapid succession will be felt in brake pedal and steering wheel. Also, vehicle may vibrate slightly. This condition is normal. Pedal pulsation continues until anti-lock function is no longer needed or vehicle is stopped.
