"G" Sensor Test

CAUTION:
DO NOT drop or impose strong shock to "G" sensor.
- Remove "G" sensor from vehicle leaving electrical connector connected. Turn ignition on. Using voltmeter, measure voltage between terminals "A" (output) and "B" (ground) of "G" sensor connector. See Fig 1 . Place "G" sensor in specified position while measuring voltage. See Fig 2 .
- With sensor held in level position, voltage should be 2.4-2.6 volts. With sensor held in face-down position (arrow up), voltage should be 1.3-1.7 volts. With sensor held in face-up position (arrow down), voltage should be 3.3-3.7 volts. If voltage is not as specified, replace "G" sensor.
