Speed Sensor: Installation

Clean speed sensor to differential mounting surface. Lubricate speed sensor "O" ring with motor oil. Install speed sensor. Tighten sensor mounting bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Measure clearance between sensor metal tip and sensor rotor teeth. See SPEED SENSOR TEST under COMPONENT TESTING.
