DESCRIPTION

If a defect is suspected in the CPU (Central Processing Unit) follow the procedures in the attached instructions to properly inspect and repair the vehicle. See Fig 1 .

LIGHT ON REMINDER CHIME DOES NOT SOUND With the light switch turned on, ignition switch off and any door(s) open. 2
IGNITION KEY REMINDER CHIME SOUNDS With ignition key removed from ignition and any door is opened. 2 & 3

THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM WILL NOT ARM 5
THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM WILL ARM BUT ALARM IS INOPERABLE 7 & 8
THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM ALARM CONTINUES TO SOUND 9 & 10

With the light switch turned off, ignition switch off and all doors closed.
