Current Draw Test

- Connect ammeter between lower (positive) terminal of motor and corresponding harness connector terminal. Connect jumper wire between upper (ground) terminal of motor and corresponding harness connector terminal.
- Set temperature lever halfway between cool and warm settings. Set function control lever in panel (upper body) position. Ensure battery is fully charged. Start engine and operate blower motor in each speed. Record current draw for each blower speed.
- Ensure current draw is within specification. See applicable BLOWER MOTOR CURRENT DRAW table. If current draw is not within specification, replace blower motor.
