Entering Transmitter Id Code
NOTE:
It is necessary to enter the transmitter code if using a new transmitter or if using same transmitter but code was erased. If using 2 or more transmitters, use all of them when entering code.
- Remove ignition key and close all doors. Open driver's door. If warning systems turn off, go to next step. If warning systems do not turn off, restart ID code entering procedure.
- Insert ignition key. Turn ignition to ON position, and then to LOCK position. Remove ignition key. Repeat this procedure 3 times. Close and then open driver's door, or press and release door switch. Repeat this procedure 3 times. Both procedures must be performed within 30 seconds.
- If Central Processing Unit (CPU) buzzer sounds once, go to next step. If CPU buzzer does not sound or sounds more than once, wait 30 seconds and return to step 1).
- Press transmitter button 2 times within 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds once, go to next step. If CPU buzzer does not sound or sounds more than once, wait 5 seconds and return to step 1).
- If using one transmitter, go to next step. If using more than one transmitter, go to step 7).
- Wait 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds 4 times, procedure is complete. If CPU buzzer does not sound 4 times, return to step 1).
- Press transmitter button 2 times within 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds once, go to next step. If CPU buzzer does not sound or sounds more than once, wait 5 seconds and return to step 1).
- If there is a third transmitter, go to step 10). If there is not a third transmitter, go to next step.
- Wait 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds 4 times, procedure is complete. If CPU buzzer does not sound 4 times, return to step 1).
- Press transmitter button 2 times within 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds once, go to next step. If CPU buzzer does not sound or sounds more than once, wait 5 seconds and return to step 1).
- Wait 5 seconds. If CPU buzzer sounds 4 times, procedure is complete. If CPU buzzer does not sound 4 times, return to step 1).
