Transmitter Inspection
- Remove batteries from transmitters. Place batteries on table for 30 minutes and allow to warm to room temperature of 68-86°F (20-30°C). Using a digital circuit tester, measure voltage of each battery. SeeFig 1
. If voltage is 2.9 volts or more, reinstall batteries and go to next step. If voltage is less than 2.9 volts, replace batteries.
- Verify system operation with second transmitter. If system operates, replace defective transmitter. If system does not operate and second transmitter is not faulty, check antenna feed and keyless unit.
