DTC P1634 - Generator Battery Terminal, Open Circuit: Condition

DTC is set when PCM detects generator output voltage greater than 17 volts and battery voltage less than 11 volts. Possible causes are:

• Generator malfunction.
• Battery malfunction.
• Open or short circuit between generator and battery.
