Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

NOTE: Before performing self-diagnostics, see PRELIMINARY INSPECTION under TROUBLE SHOOTING.

The wiper/washer system utilizes a self-diagnostic system incorporated into the instrument cluster which may store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) if a problem exists in the system. DTCs may be retrieved using New Generation Star (NGS) Tester (49-T088-0A0) for system diagnosis. Before performing any testing, preliminary procedure should be performed. See PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE .
