Power Seat Switch Inspection

  1. Disconnect the power seat switch connector.
  2. Remove the seat back trim. See FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY  .
  3. Disconnect the recliner motor connector.
  4. Remove the seat cushion trim. See FRONT SEAT DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY  .
  5. Disconnect the rear tilt motor connector.
  6. Inspect for continuity between the power seat switch, recliner motor connector, and rear tilt motor connector terminals using an ohmmeter.
    • If not as specified, replace the power seat switch.
