Intermittent Function Inoperative

NOTE: Millenia is equipped with an external intermittent wiper relay. On MX-5 Miata, Protege and 626, intermittent wiper relay is integral with wiper/washer switch.

If intermittent function is inoperative, perform the following and repair as necessary.

Test wiper motor. See WIPER MOTOR under COMPONENT TESTS.
Test wiper/washer switch. See WIPER/WASHER SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS.
Check wiring for faults. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
On Millennia, test intermittent wiper relay. See INTERMITTENT WIPER RELAY under COMPONENT TESTS.
