Shift-Lock Relay Inspection

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the shift-lock relay connector.
Inspect the voltage and continuity between the shift-lock relay terminals.
- If not as specified, replace the shift-lock relay. (See SHIFT-LOCK RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)

Connect the shift-lock relay connector.
Connect the negative battery cable.
