Removal & Installation (Mazda6)

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove in the order indicated in the illustration. On 2.3L models, see Fig 1. On 3.0L models, see Fig 2.
To install, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE: When replacing the PCM, setup the WDS tester and perform PCM configuration. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION (MAZDA6) POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE PROGRAMMING.
