DTC P1455: Fuel Tank Level, Open Or Short Circuit: Condition

DTC is set if fuel gauge sender unit operation range is minimal when fuel consumption is over 8 gallons, and input voltage is less then .09 or more then 7.2 volts when battery voltage is 11-16 volts. Possible causes are:

• Fuel gage sending unit malfunction.
• Open or short circuit between fuel gauge sending unit and terminal No. 3K on Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connector. See Figure .
