Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove ignition switch lock cylinder. See LOCK CYLINDER  . If vehicle is equipped with tilt wheel, remove tilt wheel handle by twisting tilt wheel handle.
  2. Remove upper and lower steering column shrouds. Remove key release lever bolt, lever and spring. To install, reverse removal procedure.
