Cylinder Block Assembly: Notes

CAUTION:
Beginning 5/13/96, all connecting rod assemblies were redesigned using torque-to-yield fasteners. Whenever servicing, it must be determined which assembly is used. See Figure. Assemblies 7AC or 7AE are torque-to-yield. Assemblies with 7AD are not torque-to-yield. If replacement of a 7AD rod assembly is necessary, all 6 rod assemblies must be replaced.
