Snap Ring Disassembly Note
- Install the SSTs
to the 3-4 clutch as shown.CAUTION:
- Depress the spring retainer only enough to remove the snap ring. Overpressing will damage the retainer assembly edges.
- Compress the spring retainer and the return spring.
- Remove the snap ring.
- Remove the SSTs , then remove the spring retainer and the return spring.
